CHARLES GARABEDIAN
FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, 12 | UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA, LEVIN COLLEGE OF LAW, 16
Charlie represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. He has experience litigating commercial business disputes, including breach of contract, employment discrimination, restrictive covenants, and other business torts. Charlie also has governmental law experience and has litigated land use disputes and matters arising under the First, Fifth, and Fourteenth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.
Prior to joining MMH, Charlie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Shaniek Mills Maynard in the Southern District of Florida and the Honorable John E. Steele in the Middle District of Florida. He also practiced at an AmLaw 100 firm and a well-regarded South Florida law firm.
Charlie graduated cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was a Forum Editor of the Florida Law Review, served as teaching assistant for a Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy course, and was a research assistant to Professors E. Lea Johnston and Amy L. Stein. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University.
