Case No.469

Real Estate, Rental & Leasing

LITIGATOR(S):

Don Hayden

Maia Aron

After a multi-year contentious battle in what was billed as a bet the company misappropriation of trade secret, breach of restrictive covenants of key employees and tortious interference claim by a competitor, MM&H obtained a dismissal with prejudice on the even of an evidentiary hearing where it was anticipated that the Plaintiff's pleadings would be striken. Throughout the litigation, MM&H put Plaintiff to the test in demanding that it show the trade secret that was allegedly stolen and by establishing through discovery that the demise of the Plaintiff was due to the malfeasance and gross mismanagement of its principal and not as a result of the actions of our client RealPage in entering this market segment to replace Plaintiff in coordination with major players in this field. Plaintiff changed counsel three times over the course of the dispute and MM&H was able to keep the focus on the dispositive issues and the deficiencies in the Plaintiff's position.
